ABOUT ATTORNEY JILL RUANE
Hi! My name is Attorney Jill Ruane, and welcome to my website! Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my site, learn more about me, AND learn about how I can help YOU.
What I love about juvenile defense is the chance to help kids get a voice in the system. The court process is overwhelming for most adults, so just imagine what it’s like for juvenile offenders. I want to help these teenagers so that they don’t have problems as adults when they are applying to schools or jobs. I want to help steer these teenagers toward a different path than the one that they are going down right now and prevent them from becoming adult offenders.
I’m a mother of three, and I can’t think of anything in my life that really doesn’t come back to that fact. Everything that I do is for my children – to set a good example for them and make sure that they are safe. I think that the feeling of protection that I have toward my own kids translates in my work. I become very protective of my clients and want to make sure that they have the opportunity to succeed.
I can help you or your child during this difficult time because I’m invested in my clients. A lot of attorneys start out working with juvenile law and then move on to different types of law over time. I think that this gives the impression that juvenile cases are easy. I do not feel this way. I think that it is vital to treat each case seriously and give attention to detail in each case. I think of it this way. I try to help put out the fire that exists now in my client’s life. But I want to do more than that. I want to make sure that that fire stays extinguished. I look to protect my clients now, and make sure that they are treated fairly by the court system, but I am also proactive and I focus on making sure that my clients are protected from these mistakes in their adult lives.
